Jewelry Care

Each piece of our jewelry is handmade and therefore delicate. Please use appropriate care to protect it from harm.         

 Silver tarnishes through a process caused by oxidation. To prevent excess tarnish vermeil and silver items should be stored in plastic ziplock bags with a tight seal. Storing your products in a plastic bag with anti-tarnish strips is a great way to protect your pieces.   

  To keep your pieces looking beautiful please handle your jewelry carefully and try to keep it out of direct sunlight, intense heat, or moisture. Never apply hairspray, lotions or perfumes while wearing jewelry. The color of some gemstones may fade if constantly exposed to the sun.

Return Policy

    Our goal is to provide 100% satisfaction to our customers. If you are unhappy with your piece, items may be returned within 14 days of receipt in the original, unused condition, with the original tags on the item. Your money will be refunded, less shipping fees. If you wish to make a return please email us at info@platadesigns.com to ensure prompt processing, although it may take one to two billing cycles for a refund to appear on your credit card statement.

Jewelry Differences

    All designs on this website are unique limited editions or one of a kind pieces. Although we do our best matching gemstones and materials it is important to know that because each piece is carefully picked and handmade, slight differences in size, color and clarity of stones are unavoidable.

    Repairs

Unless items are determined to be defective, all repairs will be performed for a fee. please contact us for further information before returning any item for repair or replacement.
